Hello, my name is David Reecher and I am the co-founder of Live In Happy Homes.com.

This story starts sometime in the fourth quarter of 2004 when my 70 year old father moved to one of the guest bedrooms so he could sleep better. My mother, age 69, was having sleeping problems at the time, and the oxygen machine that she used to help her sleep kept my father awake.

A little more than a year later, Christmas of 2005, my wife Cheryl, and I, really thought my father looked bad. My sister agreed with us. His skin color was a pale pasty white and he had dark circles around his eyes.

In late March of 2006, my father developed a minor infection on his face. In order for his regular doctor to help him, he prescribed my father an antibiotic. Well, this prescription ended up triggering something within my father's digestive system and stomach which started a bout with diarrhea that lasted for 12 continuous months. No one could stop it. They tried every medication under the sun trying to stop this 70 year old man from having to go to the bathroom 10-15 times per day. It was depleting all of his energy.

During those 12 months, my father lost a lot of weight, and his cancer, which had been inactive for 9 years, began to grow very rapidly. Between December of 2006, and March of 2007, over those 4 months, medical scans showed a significant cancer growth. And no one was able to solve this man's problem with diarrhea.

That was until March of 2007 when someone whom I really respected, told me to have my father's home evaluated for the possible cause. Within days, sure enough, she found an environmental problem in the guest bedroom where my father had been sleeping for the last 2 ½ years. The problem was fixed in minutes and within days, my father's diarrhea improved drastically. In fact, for the first-time in 12 months, he actually had days where he was producing solid stools.

On July 19, 2007, my father's medical scans showed his cancer had stopped growing. The scans showed that some of the cancer was now dormant and that his cancer cell activity was, in fact, less than what it was on the scans taken the previous March.

The environmental problem at my father's house was found using divining rods, dowsing rods as they're called. I quickly learned that dowsing is just a tool and has been around for thousands of years. The amazing part (or should I say, more like frightening part) of what I learned was how our environment can hurt us. Since that day, I have literally focused all of my attention on this science. I have lived and I have breathed it.
